Information Technology is an integral part of the University of Connecticut and a vital component in helping students, faculty, and staff fulfill their institutional roles. Stamford Information Technology Services provides the services and support to the Stamford campus community, helping to create a robust technological environment that is fundamental to the University’s success.
Mission Statement
Provide technical services and support for the Stamford campus community, leveraging existing technologies and services when appropriate. Identify, implement and adapt new technologies in support of the University’s academic plan.
Student Employment
Stamford ITS employs several students to assist us in providing our services. Most of the time we post and hire during Summer and Winter breaks, but sometimes will post and hire mid semester. When there are job openings the description will be posted here and in JobX. Applicants must apply for the job in JobX and will need to have there schedule available the semester when applying. We are unable to consider applicants until they have there schedule.
