  • Lecture Capture (Content and Microphone)
  • WebEx and Teams (Content and Microphone)
  • Assisted Lessening System

Select rooms also have:

Video Conference Rooms

Rooms 215, and 312 as well as some conference rooms are equipped with videoconferencing systems that can be used to connect to other UConn classrooms as well as to conferencing services like Cisco WebEx, which can be accessed by students through HuskyCT, and WebRTC, which provides a simple and lightweight conferencing solution that runs in a web browser.

Classroom Support

Stamford ITS has technicians on call during classroom support hours to provide support incase you run into equipment issues.  We recommend adding our help desk number (203) 251-9599 to your contacts list on you cell phone.  We ask that when you call the help desk you let them know that you are experiencing an issue with a classroom and that a class is in session, a tech will be dispatched right away.  Our help desk number is the preferred way to contact us for classroom issues so that we can get the message quickly and get the equipment up and running ASAP to minimize the impact on your class.  We will ask for you netID when you call and do ask that you provide it, this way if we are relayed the wrong room number we will be able to look it up and get to the room.
We do not have the resources to meet people before each class to set up their class for them, but are happy to provide training to those who request it.  Scheduling training before the semester starts will increase the chances that the actual rooms you will be teaching in will be available.
