Digital Sinage

Overview

UConn Stamford's Digital Signage system is a centrally managed system providing a way for faculty, staff, and students to communicate with the campus visually.  UConn Stamford ITS manages the content on the digital displays by the elevator and in the center stairway.  Any UConn affiliated departments, clubs, and organizations are welcome to submit a request for university related content to be posted.  Digital Signage shall not be used for personal messages, vendor advertisements or political messages.  Video walls are reserved for campus promotional content, requests to post on the video walls must go through the directors office before Stamford ITS will post them.

Content Creation and Guidelines

It is the responsibility of the user to create content that complies with the UConn brand standards, be in landscape orientation and upload it in the request form in a .jpg format.  Stamford ITS cannot assist with creating or reformatting content for the signage.  Any submission that does not look like it complies with the brand standards will be rejected.

Some Basic Things to Remember When Creating Content

  • Use large font 30pt to 40pt for text
  • Make sure your message can be read in 7 to 10 seconds
